Enhancements:

  1. Complete overhaul of the user interface. Replaced extJS with Kendo. Numerous small changes to improve the user experience. All user screen reviewed and modified as necessary to support new scheme.

  2. On recently updated candidates list (the top list on the investigator’s dashboard, added a pop-out to full-screen option in the upper-right tool panel.

  3. Instituted several code changes as best practices. No changes the user will perceive.

  4. Modified the Cases search display on the Search perspective window. Removed grouping by Investigator; added secondary filters for Last Name, Investigator, and Group.

  5. Simplified and streamlined the candidate user experience.

  6. Question UA–25 was reworded to ask “UA1-25: Have you ever committed any act amounting to a misdemeanor?”.

Defects:

  1. Question SC-3 in the sexual conduct section was mislabeled.

  2. Email invitations to all reference types were not stipulating the correct date for access termination.

  3. The question “Have you ever applied to any other law enforcement agency (city, state or federal)?” did not appear on the printed PHS and if there were no such applications, there was no way to confirm it.

  4. On the printed PHS, question EJR-3 states “Were you ever involved in a verbal/physical altercation with a supervisor, co-worker, or customer?”, but on the form, the word “verbal” was not present.
